I am a 1986 graduate of Straughn High School. 

I graduated from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in 1996 and from Troy State University in 1998.

I earned my AA degree at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College.  My BS degree was earned at Troy State University.  I have been teaching special education for 12 years.  I have taught for Geneva County Schools, Covington County Schools, Pathway Boot Camp in New Brockton, AL, and Andalusia City Schools.  This is my 6th year teaching in Andalusia City Schools.


My name is Sonia (Henderson) Wallace and I am a Special Education teacher at Andalusia High School.  I teach Vocational Life Skills and Basic Skills in a resource classroom and also teach the students in the Life Center.  I am a 1986 graduate of Straughn High School and have been married to Jeff Wallace (Andalusia High School Class of 82) for 24 years.  We have three children, Zak (AHS Class of 2011), Branston (AHS Class of 2017), and Karley-Belle (AHS Class of 2020).
